This 1969 Lancia Fulvia Rally Car, equipped with the rare Tipo 1016 'Corse Clienti' 132-horsepower V4 engine (1584cc), is a meticulously restored classic with a storied racing heritage. One of only 610 units built with this engine and among an estimated 40 factory works cars (fewer surviving today), it boasts higher lift camshafts, higher compression pistons, Solex 45 carburetors, a 90-liter alloy fuel tank, 13-inch Cromodora wheels, shorter gearbox ratios, and period-correct Halda rally instruments.
Originally sold in Tenerife to Dr. Luis Carrasco Casanova, this 1969 Lancia Fulvia was sold new as a competition rally car in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. It logged 10 rally entries between 1969 and 1976, with 3 podium finishes. It was also the featured poster car for the 2005 Classica Canaria Rally.
It was later stored from 1976 to 2003 before undergoing a comprehensive restoration in 2004 by M. Santana in Spain, with further work from 2014-2015 totaling $209,000. A period-correct transmission was added in 2024. Certified by Lancia Classiche in 2017 and accepted for the 2014 Tour Auto, this car, holds a valid FIA Historic Technical Passport for rally, hill climb, and historic racing. With complete import and transportation documents from its 2013 sale to the previous owner.
